Recently, a friend and I went head-to-head at Hollywood Studios to see how much we could do with Genie+ and without Genie+ in a points-based challenge. This is the third time I’ve tried this challenge, and the results may surprise you! Read about the Magic Kingdom Challenge and Epcot Challenge to find out if the Genie+ team or non-Genie+ team came out on top!

Playtest Groups & Quick Rundown

We had two teams playing today! Our Genie+ team consisted of Lauren – follow her on Instagram at @carouseloflauren – and our non-Genie+ team consisted of me & my dad! We approached the day as a “lazy Annual Passholder visit to the parks” day, with our challenge beginning at 9:25am and ending at 1:25pm. We also did this challenge on a Saturday in the middle of busy fall break season, and it was definitely a crowded day!

Both teams approached this in a “score the most points” kind of way, going for easy points! Let’s see what the teams did!

What’s That? A TIE?!

That’s right! Both the Genie+ Team and non-Genie+ Team TIED for the first time in the history of the challenge! Below is a breakdown of the points values, so you can see exactly how teams scored and you can download the game to play for yourself! One thing that’s interesting to note is that Lauren managed to have two meals, and saw a lot of time consuming shows, while the non-Genie+ team knocked out two big rides first thing, racking up a lot of points.

Here’s the game if you’d like to download and try for yourself! Have fun!
