Disney+ just debuted, and let me tell you, I haven’t been this excited to sit down and watch TV in a LONG time! I was thinking of doing a weekly review of Disney+ content when the idea of collaborating with X-S Press came to mind. It seemed like everyone was talking the most about The Mandalorian, so we decided to start there! Without further ado, let’s get into it!
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
Season 1, Episode 1: Chapter 1 Synopsis
In the premiere episode we are introduced to the Mandalorian, whom we’ll be following throughout the season. He’s a bounty hunter with a tough exterior, getting the job done efficiently. We see him rough up a few guys before taking on his next task: finding a fifty-year old. On the way, we learn some more about his background, and see some softer sides of his character underneath the tough exterior. At the end of the episode we see a fantastic fight scene, and find that the fifty-year old may not be who we expect to see!
As someone who hasn’t really followed the Star Wars franchise, I have to say the first episode has me hooked. I’m left wondering how this series fits in with the rest of the Star Wars universe, and I’m excited to see where it goes!
