Los Angeles International Airport, LAX
LAX is located about 40 miles away from the Disneyland Resort, allowing for convenient access to the greater Los Angeles area attractions. If you’re an international traveler, LAX is going to be your best option! Although it is not too far geographically from the Disneyland Resort, expect traffic to significantly increase travel times. It is also one of the busiest airports in the world, and as such, has significant traffic in the area as well as busy security checkpoints. For domestic travelers, LAX flights tend to be cheaper and more abundant than nearby airports, so if you don’t mind dealing with the extra hassle of a large, busy airport, it may be worth your time to check out LAX.
Getting to the Disneyland Resort from LAX
One option to get to the Disneyland Resort is to rent a car. Most major rental companies have a presence at LAX. There are additional off-site rental car companies that shuttle customers to their rental counters. If you’re travelling with little ones and did not bring a car seat with you, make sure to inquire with each company about the extra cost for car seat rentals. In addition, the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort and most off-site hotels charge a daily parking fee, so check with your hotel for details!
Taxis and rideshare services available through Lyft and Uber are also available.
